1. TERENGGANU STATE MUSEUM.


Terengganu State Museum was officially opened on April, 20 1996 by the late Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafibillah Shah, the Sultan of Terengganu. It is located in Bukit Losong which is about 6km away from Kuala Terengganu.

It covers an area of 27 hectares and is the largest museum in Malaysia. The main museum has 4 blocks of huge buildings. The Maritime Museum is also located within walking distance from the main museum. There are 5 traditional real houses which are placed on the compound behind the main museum.

2.TENGKU TENGAH ZAHARAH MOSQUE

                            

Tengku Central Zaharah Mosque or Floating Mosque is the first floating mosque in Malaysia. It is located in Kuala Ibai Lagoon near the mouth of the Kuala Ibai River, 4 km from Kuala Terengganu Town. Construction began in 1993 and was completed in 1995. The mosque was officially opened in July 1995 by the late Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah, Sultan of Terengganu. The mosque combines modern architecture and Moor; combining the use of marble, ceramics, mosaic work and bomanite paving. The white structure of the mosque covers an area of about 5 acres and can accommodate up to 2000 participants at a time.



3. BUKIT PUTERI


Bukit Puteri is located near Istana Maziah, one of Terengganu's palaces, the general post office, and Pasar Payang, the main market of Kuala Terengganu. At the foothill is the Heritage Bazaar, a place that sells various traditional crafts and products. With a size of 0.688 hectares and a height of 200 meters above the sea level, It is located in a strategic location, overlooking the estuary of Terengganu river.
